22 Momme Champagne Sleep Mask

I bought this because I have sleep paralysis and someone mentioned on a reddit thread that hypothetically if you had a sleep mask on and you wake up before your body does then the mask blocks your view of the sleep paralysis demon.
By blocking your vision it allows you to just fall back asleep without thinking a demon is sitting on your chest sucking out your life essence.
The mask has never made me sweat. Its thick, comfortable padding, incredibly soft, stays in place all night and seems really durable.
But the biggest selling point is I havent had a single sleep paralysis reoccurrence since I bought it a year ago. Iykyk.

I have used a number of sleep masks and this is my favorite. Very soft, lightweight and the strap at the back of the head is a comfortable, fixed elastic band. I like the smooth, lightweight material which is comfortable and easily blocks light. I highly recommend. I'm going to buy another.

I’ve tried a few mulberry silk sleep masks. I love them for their softness and cooling effect. I’ve found that covering my eyes at night not only helps me to sleep better, but helps soothe dry eyes.
I don’t like to sleep in total darkness. A mask gives the health benefits of sleeping in total darkness, but the security of slipping it down ever so slightly and having sight of the room.
I have had masks before that had too much padding causing them to fit concave and press inwardly onto my eyes. Another mask, that I thought was my favorite, was great except that it needed constant repositioning. It didn’t often stay on.
This mask does come down sometimes, but not often. And it fits wonderfully! The head-strap is very comfortable. I love the addition of the nose piece to block out more light. I’m very happy with this purchase.

Pros: Definitely real silk (I’ve compared it to other products and was able to use it to prove another product wasn’t real silk). My husband and I both like it - Soft, comfortable, dark outer fabric keeps light out really well (better than the lighter colored champagne one, which I also tried). I normally don’t like face masks pressing right across my eyes, but since this has a soft, fixed elastic band, it feels cozy, comfortably snug, kind of like weighted blanket for your face, rather than “tight” (to me). The packaging is really nice and would make a great gift.
Cons: some light can peek through around the nose (I think that’s why my husband folds/rolls it up there; it can be slippery and move around or off your face while sleeping, especially if you’re a fidgety sleeper, but I’m sure any real silk product will be like that.
Not affecting the stars but an FYI: I’ve noticed that silk on silk makes a kind of jarring feeling/noise, which may not bother everyone (I’m autistic), and obviously only matters if you have other silk products touching it (I have a silk binding blanket that touches sometimes).
